About us
Self-Referential Architectural Systems: software designed around your intent — secure, simple to audit, reliable, economical and sustainable.
Who we are
SRARS — Self-Referential Architectural Systems — is a software engineering studio. The name is the thesis: our systems mirror the intent of the client, so what you asked for is what runs. We build web platforms and backend systems for teams that care about security, reliability and total cost of ownership — not just the demo.
Our thesis
No matter the business or the system you want to implement, our job is always the same: find the path of least friction, the greatest economy and the most sustainable route from your intent to dependable software. We combine LLM-assisted development with deliberate architecture, automated verification and experienced engineering review.
Every system is, by itself, critical — and must be taken seriously. That is why security, auditability and reliability are not add-ons in our process: they are the starting point. LLMs accelerate the work. Engineers remain responsible for the system.
How we work
- Intent-first, self-referential. The system mirrors your business intent — nothing more, nothing lost in translation.
- Every system is critical. Reliable, observable and secure by default, regardless of size.
- Simple to audit. Small, explicit systems that can be verified end to end in days, not quarters.
- Least friction, most economy. Minimal footprint on cloud or self-hosted VPS — lower bills, less waste, no lock-in.
Our stack
- Go — high-performance runtime, single static binary
- Templ — type-safe server-side HTML
- HTMX — reactive UI without a bundler
- SQLite — embedded, zero-admin persistence
This site is the demo
Everything we claim above is running in front of you. This page is served by a single Go binary with an embedded database — the same architecture we deliver to clients. The footer publishes this server's live metrics: request counts, latency percentiles, uptime. We do not ask you to take the thesis on faith; the system shows its own behavior. That is what self-referential means in practice — the site about our method is itself an instance of it.
